Go Bees

My Mom, Holli, and I went to the Salt Lake City Bee's game on Sunday. It was so fun! They played Fresno and the Bee's won 8-1. They are doing amazing this season, so far they have a record of 21-2. WOO. It was so fun to see Brad Coon play again. We got to know him when he started out with the Orem Owlz a few years ago. The weather was perfect for the game, it was sunny and I even got a little sun burnt! I love the sun!! And, we got to see Mike and Bobby two of my favorite summer family people. Anyway, here's a few pictures we took. They aren't very good, but fun none the less. Go Bee's!

Puzzles

So the Kernels (the team Chris is playing for this summer) have games almost every night and I try to listen to as many as I can. Listening to a baseball game online can be a bit tough if you aren't doing something else. So sometimes I'll clean, do laundry, bookbind, or puzzle. I'm not gonna lie, I've gotten pretty good at puzzling. Here's a few I've finished so far this season. I wonder how many I'll have finished by September?

Random Thoughts

Here's a few things that have been floating around in my head the last few days..

John Smoltz of the Atlanta Braves has joined the 3000 strikeout club. He is only the 16th pitcher in major league history to do so, which is totally awesome! I watched on tv as he got his 3000th the other day, and it was so cool. It gave me goosebumps!



Another baseball milestone was reached this week as the Chicago Cubs hit 10,000 regular season wins. 10,000!!! They are the 2nd team in baseball to do so. That's so cool! Again...I get goosebumps thinking about it, baseball will always hold a very special place in my heart.

What is this car? It looks like a gerbil. Is it supposed to be cool because it's by Mercedes? There's one in the parking lot at work and I've seen a few more on the road. I just don't get it. If you got in any sort of accident you'd be smooshed like a bug. No bueno.

Well, my excitement for the warm weather was short lived because now it's snowing. This is some sort of SICK joke the weather gods are playing on me and I do not like it one bit.

It's almost time!!

Today is sooo nice! It's 73 degrees out and it makes me oh so happy. I can't wait to take the top off the jeep and to wear shorts and flip flops. WOO!

Summer of 2007

I recently switched back to my old orange enV phone that I was using last summer and found all of these fun pictures I had taken with it! All of them at baseball games. Weird.

Things that make me say..what the hell?

The snow and hail that fell this morning. WHAT? It's April. I've put up with the cold and snow (patiently) for long enough. NO MORE. Anything less than 60 degrees is unacceptable to me. Jayni posted some pictures here.




This shoe. I saw these babies last night, and by the time I got around to my blog they were SOLD OUT. Who the hell is buying these terrible things, and where on earth are you wearing them?? I don't get it.



I saw this "snack" in the vending machine at work. What the hell? Ketchup AND fries in a bag? Are they flavored chips? Even worse it's from Burger King. Sick.
